Accessibility Statement

The Private Office of Courtney Jordan Incorporated wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their ability or the technology they rely on.

Our standard

We design and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act in the United States and widely recognized as meeting the duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 in the United Kingdom.

What we have done

  • Every page has a clear heading structure, landmarks and a link to skip straight to the main content.
  • The whole website can be used with a keyboard alone, including the navigation panel, which can be closed with the Escape key.
  • Photographs have text alternatives, and captions identify the people and places shown.
  • Text meets WCAG contrast requirements and can be enlarged to 200 percent without loss of content.
  • Layouts adapt to screens of every size without sideways scrolling.
  • Animation is minimal and is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Forms have visible labels and explain any error clearly.

Known limitations

Some content provided by third parties, such as embedded videos and documents published by other organizations, may not fully meet the same standard. If you need any of it in another format, please ask and we will provide it.

Compatibility

This website is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers and with common assistive technologies, including VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack.
